March is here! It’s International Women’s Month

March has arrived with its promise of warmer weather and countless opportunities for celebration in my home called Chicago! However, among the excitement, let's not forget that we're diving into International Women's Month, a time to honor and recognize the remarkable contributions of women worldwide.

For the next 31 days, I am thrilled to dedicate my time and thoughts to the incredible women who have left an indelible mark in the hospitality industry and my personal journey of life. They have not only paved the way but have also inspired me to strive for excellence in everything I do behind the bar and in front of the camera.

From the beginning of my career, I have been fortunate to be mentored, guided, and empowered by extraordinary women in hospitality. Their support and guidance have shaped me into the professional I am today, and I am eternally grateful for their invaluable influence.

It would be irresponsible of me not to express my heartfelt appreciation to these exceptional women and those who continue to uplift and empower others in our industry. While I celebrate them during this special month, their impact resonates with me every day, like the aftertaste of the shot of Malort from the night before.
